#InspirationTuesday || 5 Essential Things to Remind Yourself Daily

Hello guys!

Hope you had a good weekend. I think I did too as I attended about two events that were mind-blowing.

Today is the last Tuesday of the month in October as we move to a new month. Really, this year is gone already. I mean, when did we all celebrate the New Year with our friends, family and acquaintances? Well, you know it’s not too late to get great things off this year.

Let me ask you, what are the things you remind yourself every day? Like when you wake up every morning, what are the positive things you remind yourself of that makes the rest of the day beautiful?

I figured that most of us as we journey through life hustling and bustling to make ends meet often forget to remind ourselves how beautiful life is and the reason to keep moving despite the challenges we face.

For me, on some days, it seems so hard that is almost like jumping off the cliff with no idea of what goes down. And sometimes, everything is just calm and gentle with the thoughts that things will continue smoothly. However, life is not a bed of roses, you know.

With that, I would be sharing with you 5 essential things to remind oneself when the road seems rough as we journey through life every day.

Are you ready? Let’s go

  1. Remind yourself success is MUST, not an option

It is very easy to give up when things don’t assume the shape we planned or mapped out in the head. As cliché this sounds, it is good to remind oneself that success is not an option but a must. Bear in mind that if you give up now, success is not going to happen. Just keep trying!

     2. Remind yourself to stay woke

You can’t afford to be mediocre in the world that keeps evolving each day. Remind yourself that you have to keep learning and improving each day. It’s very easy to get lost in the process of learning or growing every day. However, if the learning process is directed and focused on – it will help stay woke and abreast with necessary information. Remember that personal development is very important.

    3. Remind yourself not to give up

There would be challenges as you pull through life and this can make one have a wavering mind as to the place of destination – the top. Always remember what and why you are fighting for it and this will keep you in check.

Never give up. Today is hard, tomorrow would be worse but the day after tomorrow would be sunshine.

   4. Remind yourself you are ENOUGH

No matter what anybody says about you – where you are and where you are headed – and whatever decisions you’ve made and failed, shortcoming and flaws. You are enough. This isn’t because you are all perfect but because of how you feel deep down within you. On no condition should you think of changing or becoming someone else.

No one knows your truth but you. If you’re secure in yourself, no one and no(thing) can touch you.

   5. Remind yourself you are not too young to fly

Your age and status don’t have to limit where and who you would be in the future. Nonetheless, people might think you are putting too much burden on your shoulders. Absolutely not. It’s very okay to fly and make a huge success even when you are young.

There are so many potentials and strength in you, consider using them to the fullest while you are young. Remember ‘the joy of the youth lies in their strength’.

No doubt, there is time for everything and it will all work out in its due time. Still, don’t limit yourself because you are still young and “people” would criticize you for pushing yourself so hard. Keep in mind that their opinions about your success don’t matter.

I bet you remember the last story I shared on #InspirationTuesday.

Do I need to say more? I doubt it.

What are the things you remind yourself every day? Hit me up in the comment section, I would love to hear from you.

Happy New Month in advance! God’s best as we step into the new month…

Much love,

Lara.
